I will be back in town next Monday (not this coming Monday) and I’ll be a bit busy but I should be able to grind something out next weekend for my faithful readers.

This will also let me tell you about what all is happening in the story a little more in-depth than you will get out of the posts. I try to keep the posts on The|Escaper short so as not to make the readers strain their eyes too much staring at a monitor, but there’s only so much you can put in a short post and there’s so much in my head.

If you haven’t been reading The|Escaper, I’ll try to give you a run down of what it’s about but I don’t promise too much information, at least not yet. The main character of the story is Jared Baker, a young, single banker who is chosen from thousands of entrants to be on a new reality show, set sometime in the future. How do we know about Jared if it’s in the future? Well the writer of the posts has been getting emails in his inbox that say they cannot be delivered. Strangely, they aren’t emails that he’s been sending and they have non-standard encoding and are formatted in all different ways throughout the messages.

The reality show, just announced in a past blog, is about breaking out of prison. Sound easy? Well, that might be the easy part but after that the escapers have to keep from getting caught for the rest of the show — which is indefinite. This show is on every night of the week for an hour and will be shown until there is only one left, and there are no reruns.

I think that’s a good enough breakdown of the story so far. The next transmission will be up soon, watch for some action in the next couple of posts.
